Mike Tew

John Michael “Mike” Tew, 55, of Dothan died Saturday at a local hospital.

rnMemorial services will be held 11 am Monday at Oakey Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Don Adams and Rev. Debbie Moreland officiating. rnMike was born August 31, 1956 in Alaska and he resided most of his life in Columbus, Georgia. He moved to Headland in 1997 and was employed with DSI as a security guard for several years prior to his medical retirement 2003. Mike attended Oakey Grove Baptist Church. rnSurvivors include his sisters, Patricia Kirkland and her husband, Larry, Newville and Debbie Ammons, and her husband, David, Headland; three nieces, Christie Matthews, Kim Lolley and Lisa Sellers. rnHe was preceded in death by his parents John and Barbara Tew and a nephew Jason Matthews. Burial Date: January 1, 1970
