Mineva Graham

Mineva Graham, a resident of Shorterville, Alabama passed away on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at Henry County Health and Rehabilitation. She was 87. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 25, 2019 in the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing. Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10-11 am on the day of the service. Mineva was born on October 21, 1931 in Shorterville, Alabama and lived her early years there. She was employed with Sunnyland Packing Company for several years. After Sunnyland, she was employed with the Henry County School System until her retirement in 2005. She lived in Hollywood, Florida for several years before moving back to Shorterville. She was a member of New Salem Baptist Church. Survivors include her children; Alvin (Rosalyn) Graham, Charles Graham, Rodney (Lashara) Graham, Joann (Sylvester) Whiters, Judy (Virgil) Nelson and Margie (Percell) Gregory; 13 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great grandchildren; and a sister, Pearl Coleman.
