James Moody Faulk, a resident of Dothan, AL passed away on Monday, September 6, 2021 at his residence. He was 80.

A graveside service with Military Honors will be held on Friday, September 10, 2021 at 10:00 am in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery with Scotty Scott officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery.

Moody was born on December 1, 1940 to Moody Faulk and Jean Edmondson Faulk in Dothan, AL. He served in the US Navy with The National Security Agency. After his service to our country, he entered the automobile world where he has worked for the last 21 years at Auto Expo. Moody was a gentle soul who shared his wisdom, love and compassion not only to his family but also everyone he met. His greatest treasures were his children, grandchildren and his companion dog, MoMo.

Moody was preceded in death by his parents, Moody and Jean Faulk; his grandparents, O.T. and Bertha Edmondson and John and Linnie Faulk; and his brother, Carsie "Jerome" Faulk.

Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Debra Faulk; his children, Susan (Doug) Bailey; James Moody (Melissa) Faulk, Jr.; David Michael (Melissa) Faulk and Jason Moody Faulk; his grandchildren, Allison Powers, Macy Faulk, Tucker Bailey, Jud Bailey, Wes Bailey and Bella Faulk; his great granddaughter, Elise Powers; his brother, Douglas (Linda) Faulk; special family friend, Mike (Fran) Jones and their son, Andy; and many extended family members.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dothan Fire Paramedics, Pilcher Ambulance, Neuro Critical Care at Southeast Health Medical Center, Dr. Bently & Associates, Dr. Patidar at Southeast Health Medical Center; Hospice at Southeast Health Medical Center; and Encompass Health Hospice.

Burial Date September 10, 2021 A graveside service with Military Honors will be held on Friday, September 10, 2021 at 10:00 am in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery with Scotty Scott officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery.
