Msgt Hansel F. (Usaf Ret) Bateman,

MSgt Hansel Fleming Bateman (USAF Ret.) passed away March 18, 2017 in Winter Park, FL at 76 years old.

Hansel is preceded in death by his loving wife Patricia, his parents, John Hancel Bateman and Mary Emma Andrews and stepfather George Hugh Andrews. Survivors include his son Rodney (Barbara); his daughters, Cindy and Melinda (Joshua); his siblings; Sally Tanner (Merrill), Judy Hargett (John), Donna Hudson (Gary), and George (Butch) Andrews, his grandchildren: Sherri French (James), Aaron, Kristie Latham (Addison), Erica, Shanna Manning, Jared, Joshua II and Jasmine Tankersley, great grandchildren, Trinity and Sophia, and extended family and friends.

We will honor Hansel’s life with a memorial service at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Sunset Memorial Park, Funeral Home, and Crematory, 1700 Barrington Rd., Midland City, AL. The family will receive family and friends following the service at the funeral home.
