Nelda Dorriety Kelley, of Hartford, AL passed away on February 7, 2019. She was 90. Graveside services will be held at 2pm on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Hartford City Cemetery with Rev. Billy Rich officiating with Sunset Funeral Home directing. Mrs. Kelley was born on December 21, 1928 in Hartford and moved to Dothan in 1974. She graduated Geneva County High School and was employed at Hartford Baptist Church as a secretary, then with Kelley Roofing and Remodeling until her retirement. She enjoyed fishing, sewing, cooking, spoiling her grandchildren, and traveling. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband's Raymond Dorriety and Charles H. Kelley; her parents, Levi Shields and Saffria Underwood; her siblings, Lehmon Shields, Damon Shields, Melva Jerkins, Artie Lee Hendrix, and Jack Shields; her great-grandson, Ethan Byrd. She is survived by her children; LaRhonda (Bill) Yeomans, Bennie Dorriety, Scott (Rhonda) Dorriety, Steve (Carol) Kelley, Roger (Connie) Kelley, and Robyn (Mark) Robbins; 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
