Nell Henderson Patrick

Nell Henderson Patrick, a resident of Dothan passed away on Friday, November 17, 2017. She was 89 ½.

A celebration of her life will be held at Sunset Memorial Chapel on Monday, November 20th, 2017 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Graveside services for the family will immediately follow at Gardens of Memory in Headland, AL with Dr. Johnny Fain officiating.

Ms. Patrick was born on Valentine’s Day, 1928 in the Grimes community and later moved and spent her school years in Ashford. Nana loved cooking for her family and gardening. She was known for being a great cook and having a green thumb. She was a member of First Baptist Church and loved her Sunday School Class and their ministry to the homebound.

In addition to her parents, Lester C. and Mamie Kennedy Henderson she is preceded in death by a sister, Merle H. White and her children’s father, T.J. (Pat) Patrick.

She is survived by her daughter, Patricia (Patsy) Patrick Kausalik, and a son, R. Timothy (Margaret) Patrick, Dothan, AL; three grandchildren, Mark (Jessica) Kausalik, Cape Coral, FL; SaraBeth Patrick (Tyler) Kirkland, Bradenton, FL; Mathew (Anna) Patrick, Dothan, AL; six great-grandchildren, Abigail Kausalik, Jake and Whit Patrick, Alexandra, Autumn and Avery Kirkland.; one sister, Linda Sue Henderson Fryer, Dothan, AL.
