Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Friday, February 26, 2021 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Pattberg officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 1:30-2 pm.
John was born in Bronx, New York on May 27, 1936 to the late Anna and Nicholas Metz, Sr. He was employed with Schaefer Brewery where he retired in the 1980's.
John was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Thomas T. Metz.
He is survived by his brother, Joseph C. Metz, Sr., and several nieces and nephews.
