Nicklous "Nicky" Deck, Jr.

Nicklous “Nicky” Deck, Jr., 58, a resident of Dothan passed away on Monday, April 18, 2016.  He was 58.

Graveside services will be held at 11 am on Thursday, April 21, 2016 in Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery in Malone, Florida with Rev. Danny Williams officiating.

Nicky was born on June 10, 1957 in Keokuk, Iowa and lived the early years of his life in Winter Haven, Florida where he graduated in 1975.  He lived Ashville, North Carolina before moving to Dothan in 1983.  Nicky loved growing flowers and attending Auburn Football games.

Nicky was preceded in death by his father, Nicklous Lee Deck, Sr., his step father, James Rodgers; his brother, Marcus Deck, his niece, Rebecca Sauls, his great-nephew, Abel Lee Carter, and by his grandparents, Earnest Ducker, Sr. and Ruby Ducker.

Survivors include his mother, Katheren Rodgers Kirkland; his brother, George Neal Deck; his sister, Tammy David Sauls; his 3 nieces, Tabitha Carter, Tiffany Baxley, and Taylor Sauls; his nephew, Chris Deck; his great-nieces and nephews, Kadin Baxley, Raylynn Carter, Charliegh Shelley, Levi Carter, and Jaxon Baxley.
