Norma Stephens Kibler, of Jellico Community, passed away at her residence February 24, 2017. She was 82.
Funeral services will be held 2 pm Monday, February 27, 2017 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Glover and Eric Norris officiating. Burial will follow in Winslette Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery in the Jellico Community with Sunset Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends 1-2 prior to the service. Flowers are being accepted oromemorial donations may be made to the United Methodist Children's Home, 3140 Zelda Ct, Suite 100, Montgomery, AL 36106 or to Winslette Chapel United Methodist Church, 396 South County Road 9, Newton, AL 36352.
Mrs. Kibler was born June 25, 1934 in Skipperville, Alabama. She resided in Level Plains until moving to Wicksburg at the age of 15. Mrs. Kibler was a homemaker and member of Winslette Chapel United Methodist Church where she served the church by helping keeping it clean, teaching Sunday school, and serving as treasurer. She loved gardening and growing vegetables for her family. Mrs. Kibler is proceeded in death by her brother and sister-in-law Rex and Betty Stephens; sister, Doris and her brother-in-law, James Carr.
Mrs. Kibler is survived by her husband of 61 years Billy H. Kibler; her children, Billy T. (Gwen) Kibler, Robin Kibler, Mark (Elizabeth) Kibler, Laura (Jack) Kibler Populorum; her sisters, Sudie Powell and Shirley Battles; Grandchildren, Wesly Kibler, Ian Populorum, and Gabriel Kibler; several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Serving as active pallbearers will be Danny Battles, Larry Stephens, Wesley Kibler, Terry Carpenter, Joey Powell, and Meylan Searcy.< /p> ) Burial Date February 27, 2017
