Patricia A Bachand

 Patricia A. Bachand, known affectionately as Patricia, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2025, at the age of 81 in Campbellton, Florida. Born on March 13, 1943, in Worcester, Massachusetts, Patricia was a beacon of intelligence, kindness, and love throughout her life. 

Patricia's early years were spent in the nurturing care of her parents, the late Raymond Hendrickson and Mary Dion. She grew up surrounded by her siblings, with whom she shared an unbreakable bond that carried on throughout her life. Patricia attended local schools where she quickly became known for her bright mind and warm spirit. 

Her professional journey began at Holy Cross College, where she served as a typist and later an Executive Secretary. Her meticulous attention to detail and her ability to connect with people of all walks of life made her a beloved figure on campus. Patricia's career later took a turn when she joined her husband, Roland Bachand Jr., on their dairy farm. Together, they worked side by side, not only cultivating the land but also nurturing a family defined by love and mutual respect. 

Patricia's marriage to Roland spanned an admirable 27 years, filled with shared dreams and unwavering partnership. Her role as a wife was paralleled by her devotion as a mother and grandmother. Patricia's children and grandchildren were the apples of her eye, and she instilled in them the values of education, compassion, and the importance of family. 

Those who knew Patricia will remember her for the warmth of her smile and the depth of her understanding. She was the kind of person who listened without judgment and offered wisdom that seemed to come from a place of profound empathy. Her impact on the lives she touched is immeasurable and will be felt for generations to come. 

Patricia's absence will leave a void in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to cross paths with her. Yet, they take solace in knowing that her legacy is one of love, an example of how to live a life with grace and intention. 

As we say goodbye to Patricia A. Bachand, we celebrate a life well-lived, a journey that was as meaningful as it was cherished. Her story does not end with her passing but continues in the lives of those she loved and the countless memories that will be treasured forever. 

Patricia's life will be honored in a private ceremony, where her family and close friends will gather to share stories, laughter, and tears, remembering a remarkable woman who was truly the heart of her family. Her spirit will live on, as vibrant and nurturing as it was in life, guiding those she has left behind. Rest in peace, dear Patricia, until we meet again. 

A mass will be held in her honor at St. Columba Catholic Church, on Thursday, January 9, 2025 at 11:00am with Father LaPointe officiating. Patricia will be laid to rest in the Howard Street Cemetery in Northborough, Massachusetts. Burial with a graveside service will take place 1:00 pm EST in Howard Street Cemetery in Northborough, Massachusetts on Wednesday January 15, 2025.
