Patricia Ruth Bledsoe

Patricia Ruth Bledsoe, 75, a resident of Dothan passed away peacefully with her family by her side Saturday, September 13, 2014 at a local hospital.

A Celebration of Life will be 11am Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at 1st Christian Church with Rev. Bill Smith officiating.

Mrs. Bledsoe was born March 12, 1939 in Kissimmee, Florida, the daughter of Joel Martin and Tensie Bronson Chitwood. After a life as a career Air Force wife she returned to the south and lived in Dothan for the last 15 years. She was an active member of 1st Christian Church in Dothan and enjoyed volunteering in her community. She was a loving Nana to numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Pat was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years Ralph Bledsoe.

Survivors include her daughters, Cheryl Tom Moore of Texas, Diane Bledsoe of Dothan, and Connie David Honigs of Illinois; sisters, Dorothy Eckenroth of Colorado, Lois Oberry, Judy Laverty, and Charlotte David all of Florida.
