Patricia B Kerper

Patricia B. Kerper was born in Brooklyn, New York on May 13 1948. She entered Heaven’s Gates on Friday, July 13, 2018. A loving mother and Nana as well as a devoted nurse. Patty loved with her whole heart and always greeted everyone with a smile. She worked for Flowers Hospital as an RN, Wound and Ostomy Nurse for 35 years where her patients were her passion and the people she served with became her family. Patty was preceded in death by her best friend, Dave Kerper. She is survived by her sister, Mary Lou Mirino of Deland, FL; her son and daughters, Joe (Patty) Kerper of Rancho Mirage, CA, Jennifer (Jason) Tolbert of Dothan, AL and Maura (David) Hester of Nashville, TN; four grandchildren and one great grandchild who she loved dearly, Kalyn (Justin), Payton, Alena, Shepard and Parker. She was loved by her many nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Father Patrick Gallagher officiating. The family will receive friends from 4-5:30 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. At all other times, the family will be at the home of Patty Kerper in Dothan. Flowers are being accepted or memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
