Patsy Lou Capron, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2023, in Ashford, Alabama, following an extended natural illness. Born on May 2, 1935, in Michigan, Patsy lived a life filled with love, faith, and dedication to her family.

Patsy is predeceased by her first husband, a World War II veteran, and her second husband, Raymond Capron. She is also predeceased by her sons, Linsey O'Connor, Ricky Burgdorf, Randy Burgdorf, and by her infant daughter, Penny Kay. Patsy is survived by her children Penny (James) Campbell, Helen Burgdorf (Fernando) Gonzales, Russel (Lori) Burgdorf, and Michael (Cindy) Burgdorf, as well as her two stepsons Steve (Dot) Burgdorf and Randy. She also leaves behind numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom she loved dearly.

Patsy's life was marked by her dedication to her family. As a housewife, she took great pride in caring for her family and creating a home filled with love and warmth. Her Irish heritage was a source of pride and joy, and she often shared stories and traditions from her roots with her family. Patsy was a member of the DAV Auxiliary, where she supported veterans and their families, a cause close to her heart due to her first husband's service in WWII.

Patsy had a zest for life and enjoyed simple pleasures. She found joy in playing Bingo and was a regular at the Bingo halls in Marianna, Florida. Her competitive spirit and love for the game brought smiles to everyone around her. Patsy also enjoyed time watching the game show, Jeopardy. Patsy's infectious laughter and warm personality made her a beloved figure to those that knew her.

Patsy's life was a testament to her strength, resilience, and unwavering love for her family. She faced every challenge with grace and courage, and her legacy of love and devotion will continue to live on in the hearts of those she left behind. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
