Patsy Woodham MacAloney, a resident of Dothan, passed away at a local hospital on Wednesday, January 25, 2023. She was 57 years old.
A graveside service will be held at 11 am on Monday, January 30, 2023 in Midland City Cemetery with Brother Terry Marler officiating. The family will be at the cemetery on Monday from 10-11 am to visit with friends and family.
Patsy was born on March 14, 1965 in Dothan, Alabama and has lived in the Wiregrass area all of her life. She attended Wicksburg High School and entered the workforce in the hospitality industry while raising her young children. Patsy was later employed with Flowers Hospital and loved taking care of both the young and the elderly. She had a wonderful giving spirit and truly loved people. She had an open-door policy for the many children that she took into her home to love as her own. Patsy was a Godly woman and will be missed dearly by her family and friends.
Patsy was preceded in death by her father, Robert Woodham, her mother, Shirley Woodham, and by her brothers, Don Woodham and Dennis Woodham.
Patsy is survived by her children, Daniel (Jessica) MacAloney, Jr., Elijah (Stacy) MacAloney, and Patricia (Thomas) Hale; her 11 grandchildren, Austin Cook, Makayla Cook, Miriam MacAloney, Hunter Cook, Danielle MacAloney, Bella MacAloney, Elizabeth MacAloney, Angel Hale, Kelsey Hale, Westin Hale, and Coltin Hale; her two great grandchildren, Blakelynn Cook and Kor'Byn Evans; her siblings, Debbie Bridges, Judy Lassiter, and David Woodham; and several nieces and nephews.
