Phyllis Colagross, 93, of Dothan passed away Friday, January 17, 2014 at a local hospital.
A funeral mass will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at St. Columba Catholic Church Chapel with Monsignor Patrick Gallagher officiating and Robert Byrd directing.
Mrs. Colagross was born on May 8, 1920 in Detroit, Michigan and resided in Lansing, Michigan most of her life until moving to Longwood, Florida and then to Dothan in 2005. Mrs. Colagross was employed with the State of Michigan as a file clerk. During WWII she worked with Rosie the Riveters in factories producing war supplies. She was a member of St. Columba Catholic Church.
Mrs. Colagross was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Fred Colagross.
Survivors include her son, Robert Joseph Linda Colagross; her 3 daughters, Janice Badura, Antoinette Gary Neubauer, and Dorothy Fred Raby; her 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
