Preston Bama Smith

Preston “Bama” Smith, 17, of Tallahassee, FL died Jan. 26, 2011.

Services will be 1 pm Sat., Jan. 29, at Sunset Funeral Home with Rev. Franklin Wood officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Saturday.

Preston was born June 11, 1993 in Houston County and he resided the early years of his life in Webb. He moved to Tallahassee, Florida in 2003 and he was a senior in Leon High School. Preston was working with the Marie Mattox Law Firm as a file clerk. He was an avid University of Alabama football fan and enjoyed hunting and fishing. rnSurvivors include his mother, Faye Smith, Tallahassee, FL; his brother, Justin Henderson, Cottonwood, AL; his sister, Breanna Smith, Tallahassee, FL; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Smith, Daleville, AL; his great-grandmother, Annie Forehand, Bellwood, AL; several aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive. Burial Date: January 1, 1970
