Ralph Eugene Marcus

Ralph Eugene Marcus, a resident of Florida, passed away at Ft. Walton Beach Medical Center on Tuesday, January 25, 2022. He was 82 years old.

A graveside ceremony will be held at 11 am on Saturday, February 19, 2022 in Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends in Sunset Funeral Home Reception Center following the inurnment. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association, www.heart.org/aha/donate.

Ralph was born and raised in Chilton County, Alabama and graduated from Thorsby Institute. He had a very successful career in the Paint Business and prior to his retirement he was the International and National Sales Manager for Lilly Industries. Ralph loved boating, fishing, traveling and spending time with his family and friends.

Mr. Marcus was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie Eugene and Martha Annie Marcus and by his brother, Crawford Anderson Marcus.

Survivors include his loving wife of 61 years, Betty Horne Marcus; his children, R. Dwayne (Jackie) Marcus of Dallas, TX, Teresa Renee (Mark) Marcus-Tucker of Niceville, FL, Richard Lee (Romona) Marcus of Dothan, AL; his grandchildren, Emily Marcus (Tomas) Rodriguez, Mitchell Marcus, Matthew Marcus, and Tyler (Allison) Marcus; his great grandchild, Brooklyn Marcus; his step-grandchildren, Ryan (Shannon) Tucker and Holly (Wade) Leone; his sister, Martha Ann (Harold) Reynolds; and several nieces and nephews.
