Raphael Carlton Berry

Raphael Berry a resident of Dothan, Alabama passed away unexpectedly after a brief illness on December 20, 2023 in a Dothan, Alabama hospital.

Raphael was born in Wilmington, North Carolina on April 26, 1961. At a young age Raphael moved to Lima, Ohio where he lived and graduated from Lima Senior High School in 1979. In 2003 he moved to Alabama and gained employment with Oakview Manor Health and Rehabilitation Center in Ozark, Alabama. He has been employed by Oakview Manor for the last 20 years. During his years working at OVM he held various positions and was a valuable asset to the facility. He was currently working as a devoted and caring Certified Nursing Assistant. His goal was to provide quality care to the residents and make their days as pleasant as possible. Raphael took excellent care of his many residents and was dearly loved by them all as well as resident's family members and his co-workers. In his free time, he enjoyed playing bingo, thrift store and antique shopping, and playing the lottery.

He will be dearly missed by all who had the opportunity to know and love him.

A celebration of Raphael's life will be held on Thursday, January 4, 2023 at 6:00pm at the Sunset Memorial Park Chapel.
