Raul Rincon

Raul "Paul" Lopez Rincon, a resident of Dothan, passed away on Friday, July 24, 2020 in a local hospital. He was 89 years old. A celebration of his life will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Military honors will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. Mr. Rincon was born on October 21, 1930 in San Antonio, TX and lived the early years of his life in George West, Texas. He joined the US Army in 1950. He was proud of his military service as a US Army Aircraft Inspector. Mr. Rincon was later employed with Civil Service at Ft. Rucker, Ft. Stewart, and Kwajalein Island. He was an instructor in Brazil and taught aircraft maintenance. Our favorite memories of our beloved Father were spending time in the countryside with him and listening to his war stories. Survivors include his sons, Greg (Teresa) Rincon and Torey (Teresa) Rincon; his six grandchildren, Wendy Kurz, Misty Hayes, Ashley Holmes, Tanis Rincon, Kelvey Rincon, and Autumn Magalhaes; his six great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; his one brother; his four sisters; and several nieces and nephews. A celebration of his life will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Military honors will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.
