Going by the call name "Deuce and a Quarter," Ray enjoyed driving all over the country and meeting people from different backgrounds and cultures. He often called his family to talk about all the wonders he encountered on the open road and acted as the family navigation system before Google Maps, making sure that his loved ones always made it safely to their destinations.
