Raymond V. Wojtyna, a resident of Dothan, passed away on Friday, December 14, 2018. He was 82. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, December 16, 2018 in Memory Hill Cemetery with Rev. Scott Cox officiating and Robert Byrd directing. Mr. Wojtyna was born on February 10, 1936 in Michigan and lived the early years of his life in Farmington Hills, Michigan. He would graduate from high school there and serve in the US Army where he would be stationed at Ft. Rucker for two years in the early 1960's. Mr. Wojtyna was a graduate with a degree in pharmacy from Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan. Mr. Wojtyna owned and operated Guilford Drug Company in Hartford, Alabama for 35 years until his retirement in 1998. He loved staying in touch with his friends and family on the computer. Mr. Wojtyna has resided in Dothan since 1999 and was a member of Hartford Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Barbara J. Wojtyna; his son, Martin Wojtyna; his daughter, Elizabeth Ann (William) Reynolds; his 2 grandchildren, Patrick (Katherine) Farmer and Will Farmer; his great-grandchild, Payton Farmer; his niece, Sharon (Mike) Lewis; and his nephew, Johnny (Kathy) Nicholson.
