Reba Bruner

Reba Bruner, 92, a resident of Ashford passed away on Monday, February 6, 2017 surrounded by her loving family.

A memorial service celebrating her wonderful life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at the Ashford City Cemetery with Rev. Kathy Stumbaugh officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Watermark Church, 103 Elmer Rd., Ashford, AL 36312.

Ms. Bruner was born September 12, 1924 to the late Hosea and Mamie Adams in Ashford, AL. She loved the Lord Jesus and served Him at Ashford First Baptist/Watermark Church. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, and teaching her Sunday School class. She was preceded in death by her husband Jack Bruner and her grandson Ryan Bruner.

Survivors include her children, Mary Ellen (James) McSween, John Bruner, and Elizabeth (Doug) Simmons; 6 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
