Robbie Waynn Hollis Peterson

Robbie Waynn Hollis Peterson, a resident of Dothan passed away on Friday, January 30, 2009 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center. She was 46.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 5, 2009 at Sunset Memorial Park with the Rev. Steve Trail officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service at Sunset Memorial Park.Ms. Peterson was born on September 16, 1962 in Houston County and resided here during her early years. She was a 1980 graduate of Rehobeth High School and was a majorette and member of the color guard. She received her nursing degree from Wallace College in 1982 and has been employed with Southeast Alabama Medical Center for the past 23 years.Survivors include her daughters, Melissa Erin Peterson of Dothan, Ashley Marie Peterson of Tuscaloosa; her mother Mary Helon Hollis Trawick of Dothan; a brother William Jeffrey Hollis of Dothan; her fiancé Justin Nelson of Chipley, FL; a nephew Jackson Hollis of Dothan; several cousins.Serving as active pallbearers will be Jeffrey Hollis, Matt Garner, Brock Bass, Brandon Dupree, Robert Gibson and Steven Branton. Burial Date: January 1, 1970
