Robbie Jean Whitaker

Robbie Jean Whitaker, 69, of Donalsonville, Georgia passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at Wesley Manor.

rnThere will be a visitation from 6 pm until 8 pm EST, Friday, June 3, 2011 at her daughter’s home, Angela Harvey, 5132 River Road, Jakin, GA. rnMs. Whitaker was born September 9, 1941 in Donalsonville, Georgia and she resided the early years of her life there. Ms. Whitaker resided in Miami, Florida for thirteen years before back to Donalsonville. She was employed with Donnie Mills for over 24 years and at the time of her retirement in 1993 she was serving as line supervisor. Ms. Whitaker was an avid gardener and loved growing flowers and crocheting. rnSurvivors include two daughters, Angela W. Joey Harvey, Jakin, GA, Vicki W. Bloxom, Winchester, VA; two grandchildren, Jessica Bloxom and Noah Bloxom; a great-granddaughter, Ellysabeth Goodwin; her sister, Geraldine Randall Tice, Napier Field; two nephews, Brad Tice and Randy Tice; her canine companions, Tigger, Zoie and Buster. Burial Date: January 1, 1970
