Robert Lee Amos

Robert Lee Amos, a resident of Madrid passed away on Monday, November 15, 2010 at his residence. He was 42.

Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Milton Braswell officiating. Burial will follow in Madrid City Cemetery with Robert Byrd officiating. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home.Mr. Amos was born on December 3, 1967 in Detroit, MI and where he resided the early years of his life. He moved to Cedar Springs, GA in 1984. He was employed with Bainbridge Truck Stop for several years and later Shaw Carpet Company. He was employed with Bondy’s Ford for 8 years till his recent illness.Survivors include his son Christian Amos of Daleville, AL; three daughters, Kristinia Amos of Daleville, Angela Boozer of Attapulgus, GA and Cecily Amos of Bainbridge, GA; three grandchildren; his mother, Beverly Wells and her husband, David; four brothers, Thomas Amos, Billy Amos, John Amos and Mike Amos; two sisters, Dianne Kay McCord and Nicole Hallford; several nieces and nephews also survive. Burial Date: January 1, 1970
