Robert Blessman

Robert Blessman, 65, of Dothan passed away Monday June 10, 2013 at a local hospital.

Funeral services will be held 2pm Thursday June 13, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery with Robert Byrd directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5pm until 7pm Wednesday.

Mr. Blessman was born August 16, 1947 in Montgomery, Alabama and he resided all of his life in Dothan.  He was employed at Ansell’s as a Machinist Mechanic for over 25 years prior to his retirement in 2003.  Mr. Blessman was a big fan of Johnny Cash and he enjoyed playing his guitar.

Survivors include two sons, Toby Blessman, Panama City, Florida and Tim Angie Blessman, Wickburg; his daughter, Robyn Blessman, Panama City, Florida; 2 step-sons, Tim Creel and Ken Creel; his grandchildren, Ashton Blessman, Kaylon Blessman, Bryson Blessman, Chase Blessman, Jessica Blessman, Elizabeth Creel and Casey Creel; his nephew, Luke Shirley, Dothan; the mother of his children and his best friend, Judy Lewis.
