Robert Alto “Fox” Love, a resident of Taylor passed away on Monday, May 4, 2009 at his residence after an extended illness. He was 91.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 8, 2009 at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Smith officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.

Mr. Love was born on April 19, 1918 in Houston County and lived the early years of his life in Love Town. He was a World War II Veteran serving in the U.S. Army. He was a farmer for several years and later worked with Whitehead Milling Co. for over 8 years. Mr. Love also worked with Cottonwood Auto Wholesale until his retirement.

Survivors include close friends and family, his sisters, Mary Mercer, Ashford, and Lucille Strickland, Arcadia, Florida; Carolyn Adams and Dustin Adams, Taylor; several nieces and nephews.
