Robert Charles Wester

Robert Wester, known to many as, “Rob”, a cherished family man and a beacon of unwavering optimism, passed away on July 30, 2024, at the age of 73. Born on November 3, 1950, in Pennsylvania, Rob was known for his selfless nature and loving heart.

Rob's life was marked by his dedication to his work in furniture sales, where he was known as a hard worker and a trusted advisor to many seeking to make their houses into homes. His commitment to his profession was paralleled only by his devotion to his family and the community that he held dear.

He is survived by his beloved grandson, Dustin Thomley, and his wife, Valerie, who will carry forward the legacy of his kind spirit. His great-grandchildren, Amelia, Anna Claire, and Addison, will grow up hearing stories of their great-grandfather's warmth and generosity. Rob's sister, Pamela Massey, along with her husband, William, will remember him as a pillar of strength and love within their family.

Those who had the pleasure of knowing Rob will recall his love for life, his infectious laugh, and his uncanny ability to uplift everyone around him. His optimism was a constant source of comfort and inspiration, and his loving nature made him a friend to all.

As we bid farewell to Robert “Rob” Wester, we celebrate a life beautifully lived and a journey completed with grace. Rob will be dearly missed, but the memories he created will forever be cherished by those who were fortunate enough to know him.

A celebration of Rob’s life will be held Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at 11am in the Sunset Memorial Park Chapel. The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the services.
