Robert Dolton Willis, a resident of Ozark, passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at a local hospital. He was 70.
rnFuneral services will be held at 2pm on Sunday, September 25, 2011 at Mt. Sinai Holiness Tabernacle with Rev. Daniel Vance and Rev. Dewayne Watson officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 12:30-2 pm at the church. rnMr. Willis was born on July 25, 1941 in Coffee County and resided in Plant City before moving to Ozark in 1992. He was self employed as a carpenter and cabinet maker. Mr. Willis was an avid fisherman and deer hunter. rnSurvivors include his wife, Nellie Smith Willis, Ozark, AL; his children, Mike Willis, Plant City, FL, Joshua Screws, Ozark, AL; Rebecca Jones, Lakeland, FL, Wina Willis, Plant City, FL, Faye Rachels, Crestview, FL, Rebecca Shiver, Ozark, AL Brenda Carnley, Avon Park, FL, Ramona Park, Elba, AL, Huey Vance, Ozark, and Terry Vance, Echo, AL; his sisters, Mary Louise Eagan, Cave City, AR, Mikki Seifts, and Ella Knap both of Plant City, FL; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
