Roger Austin White

Roger Austin White, a resident of Dothan, passed away on Tuesday, August 25, 2020. He was 27 years old. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Roger was born on November 4, 1992 in Blakely, Georgia and lived there the early years of his life. He attended Headland High School. Roger loved Bull Riding whenever he got the chance and being on the banks fishing. He was big hearted, always putting others first and was happy to lend a helping hand to others in their time of need. Roger was free spirited and was a bit of a drifter cowboy. He was honored to volunteer his time with the Columbia and Haleburg Volunteer Fire Departments and with Columbia Manor at Halloween as a clown. Roger was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Homer White, Jr. and Roger A. Clarke. Survivors include his partner, Beth Gilliam; his daughter, Arizona Skye White; his son, Austin White; his parents, Trey and Kay White; his sister, Dixie White; his brother, Zack (Crystal) White; his grandparents, Sue White and Tommie Lindsay; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
