Ronald Ralph Johnson

Ronald Ralph Johnson, a resident of Midland City, passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2020 at his residence. He was 64. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Mr. Johnson was born on December 12, 1955 in Townsend, Vermont and lived the early years of his life there. He attended Battleboro High School in Battleboro, Vermont. Mr. Johnson drove a truck with Summerford Truck Line in Ashford, AL, with Nuclear Support Service, and was a deputy with Dale County Sherriff's Department. He worked alongside his father at Deerfield Valley Fire Department in Vermont and volunteered with a local fire department before his passing. Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his parents, his aunt Betty Shirley, and several cousins. Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Cathy Johnson; his children, Heather Grantham of Midland City, Timothy Williams of Falkland, NC, Carl Allen of Tavares, FL, and Cody (Brittany) Allen of Rockledge, FL; and his 4 grandchildren. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
