Ronnie Price

James Ronnie Price, of Dothan died Sunday, June 21, 2009 in Southeast Alabama Medical Center following an extended illness. He was 61.

Graveside services will be held at 10:45 a.m. on Wednesday, June 24, 2009 in Sunset Memorial Park and Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Moody Faulk and Dr. Jim Sanders officiating. The family will receive friends following services at the funeral home. Ronnie will lie in state at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 23rd and Wednesday prior to graveside services.rnIn lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church Building Fund, 1380 W. Crawford St., Dothan, AL, 36301 or the charity of your choice.rnMr. Price was born on September 1, 1947 in Hartford, AL and moved to Dothan at an early age. He attended Dothan High School and was a graduate of Troy University. He was a partner in Davis-Dyar Supply Company until founding Tri-State Industrial Rubber Company, Inc. in 1983. Mr. Price was a long time member of the Dothan Rotary Club as well as a member of the First United Methodist Church and a past chairman of the Dothan Rehabilitation Board and a Paul Harris Fellow.rnMr. Price was preceded in death by his son William Brian Price, his parents Daniel Webster Price and Frankie Galloway Price, a sister Carolyn June Redmond, a brother James E. Price. rnSurvivors include his wife Susan Davis Price, Dothan; a son Jim Price and his wife Mary Beth of Dothan; a granddaughter, Jessica Nicole Price of Dothan; sisters, Sue Moring and her husband Robert of Valparaiso, FL, Ouida Richardson and her husband Roland of Maryland; a sister-in-law Jeanette Price of Hartford, AL.
