Rosemary Holland Hardy

September 30, 1945 — June 10, 2018

Rosemary "Dodie" Holland Hardy of Midland City, went to be with her Savior Sunday, June 10, 2018 following an extended illness. She was 73. Funeral services will be held 2pm Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tommy Gidden officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1pm- 2pm Thursday. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Gideons International 719 Griffin Rd, Chipley, FL 32428. Mrs. Hardy was born September 30, 1945 in Dothan, AL to Thomas Matthew and Pauline Mauldin Holland and resided here most of her life. She was a home maker, loved gardening and raising day lilies, and enjoyed cross stitch. Mrs. Hardy attended Newton First Assembly of God Church. Mrs. Hardy is preceded in death by both her parents. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her devoted husband of 35 years, Earl Gordon Hardy; her daughter, Katrina (John) Paschal of Houston, TX; her grand-daughters, Ashley Exparza of Lubbock, TX and Kristen Revias of San Antonio, TX; her sister, Thresia Holland Weber (Bill) of Panama City Beach, FL; her nieces, Allyson Mims (Chad) of Dothan, AL and April Young of Tifton, GA; her great nephews, Addison Mims, Harrison Mims of Dothan, AL, Trey Young and Cole Young of Tifton, GA; her sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Becky and Louis Boothe; her nephews, Eddie Boothe of Eufaula, AL and Don Anderson of Austin TX. The family would like to give a sincere thanks to Mrs. Hardy's caregivers; Brenda Quattlebaum, Benita Bort, Brandie Caldwell and Mary Rose Trawick.
