Rosemary P. Tusberg, 64, of Enterprise died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2011 at her residence.
A Mass will be held 1:00 pm Saturday, Feb. 5, 2011 at Saint John Catholic Church in Enterprise, AL with Father Paul Egbe officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park in Dothan. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 pm Friday evening at the funeral home. Mrs. Tusberg was born May 5, 1946 in Utiny, Italy and moved to Wheeling, West Virginia at an early age. She resided in Lawton, Oklahoma prior to moving to Enterprise in 1980. Mrs. Tusberg had been with Civil Service for 45 years and had been employed at Ft. Rucker and was working as a Program Support Assistant at Lyster Army Hospital/Clinic upon her retirement in 2010. In Jan. 2011, she received the Superior Civilian Service Award, one of the highest awards given in Civil Service. While residing in Alabama, she owned and operated Essence of Beauty Modeling and Charm School in Enterprise from 1983 to 1985. She was president of Federal Employed Women F.E.W. for the Wiregrass Chapter from 1987 to 1988. She was a graduate of the Civilian Police Academy in Enterprise, AL in 2010, and she was a member of Saint John Catholic Church. Mrs. Tusberg was preceded in death by her son, Brian Patrick Tusberg and her father Rex Lester Hall. Survivors include her son A. J. Tusberg of Chancellor, TX; a daughter Tonya Tusberg of Enterprise; 3 grandchildren, Alisha Rae Tusberg, Austin Harris, and Alyssa Harris; a great-grandchild Michael James Dionne; her mother Carla Hall of Eloy, AZ; a sister Fernanda “Tina” Guertin of Casa Grande, AZ and a nephew Timothy Guertin of Casa Grande, AZ.
