Roy Curtis Norman

November 25, 1933 — February 18, 2010

Roy Curtis Norman, a resident of Ozark passed away on Thursday, February 18, 2010 at Flowers Hospital following a brief illness. He was 76.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 20, 2010 at the Sunset Memorial Park Pavilion with Rev. Andy Wood officiating and Robert Byrd directing.Mr. Norman was born on November 25, 1933 in Trafford, AL and resided there the early years of his life. He lived in Ozark over the past 45 years and was employed with Hayes Aircraft at Ft. Rucker from the 1960’s as an aircraft mechanic until his retirement in 1998. He was also employed with the Ozark City School System as a bus driver for 38 years until his retirement in 2006. He attended Ozark First Assembly of God Church.Survivors include his wife Juanita Norman of Ozark; sons, Steve Norman and his wife Diane of Dothan, Randy Hayes and his wife Beth of Ozark; daughters, Lori Norman of Ozark, Heidi Aman of Ozark; 7 grandchildren, Daniel Norman and his wife Chelsea, Erica Proffer, Annah Aman, Ally Aman, Elizabeth Alafriz, Jake Fundar, Jamelle Fundar; a great-grandchild Halli Norman; a brother Beau Norman; sisters, Nell Neely, Myrtle Williams, Grace Moates; several nieces and nephews also survive. Burial Date: January 1, 1970
