Rubin Ladon Glass

Rubin LaDon “Don” Glass, 72, a resident of Dothan died March 17, 2012.

rnGraveside services will be 2 pm Sunday at Sunset Memorial Park with Rev. Brett Hemphill officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 pm until 2 pm Sunday. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Covenant Hospice, 104 Rock Bridge Road, Dothan, AL 36303. rnMr. Glass was born March 23, 1939 in Wewahitchka, FL. He worked as an operator engineer with Farley, Duke Power, and Surry Power Plants for a total of 34 years. He was preceded in death by his father Rubin Sinclair Glass, his mother Maude Thompson Glass, a brother Frank Glass, two sisters, Dorothy Porter and JoAnn Odom. rnSurvivors include his son Tracy Teresa Glass; his daughters, Wendy Glass John Shiver and Vicki Glass Robby Simmons; 7 grandchildren. Special thanks to the loving caregivers at Covenant Hospice of Dothan and Marianna and many others. Burial Date: January 1, 1970
