Ruby “Tinná” Bledsoe

September 28, 1946 — December 7, 2019

Ruby "Tinná" Bledsoe, a resident of Dothan, passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at a local hospital. She was 73. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses on Cottonwood Road in Dothan with Brother Tim Owens officiating. Mrs. Tinná Bledsoe was born on September 28, 1946 to Otis Donald and Minnie Lee Lindsey in Newton, MS. She spent most of her life in California, Texas, Florida and Alabama. In the early 1990's Mrs. Bledsoe received degrees in cosmetology, medical assisting, and substance abuse counseling. She spent the last of her working years with Dothan City School's as a substitute teacher. Mrs. Bledsoe was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on May 10, 1977. She loved Jehovah God very deeply and spent many hours in the preaching work. Mrs. Bledsoe also had a love for family, cooking and fashion. Survivors include her husband of 24 years, Willie James Bledsoe; one son and two daughters, Shon Byrd, Amber Lindsey-Patterson and Dana Lindsey; seven grandchildren, Michael Walker, Marsailis Gauvin, Markell Gauvin, Darian Lindsey, Jwon Byrd, Shon Byrd, Jr. and Javon Byrd; two sisters, Patricia Lindsey and Jackie Lindsey, two great-grandchildren, Levi Gauvin and Myiana Gauvin; and many nieces and nephews also survive, including Marva Lindsey and Leon Jones, who she assisted in raising. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses on Cottonwood Road in Dothan with Brother Tim Owens officiating.
