Sam Price Jones, Jr.

Sam Price Jones, Jr., a resident of Dothan passed away on Monday, June 22, 2009 at his residence after an extended illness. He was 59.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 25, 2009 at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Jim Sanders officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery with Robert Byrd directing.Mr. Jones was born on May 2, 1950 and he resided in Dothan most of his life. He was a 1968 graduate of Dothan High School and he attended the University of Alabama. He was employed with United Distiller Asia for several years as Regional Director. Mr. Jones was a member of First United Methodist Church.Survivors include special friends, Jean and Mike Dagostin of Dothan; Eura Thomas of Dothan; an uncle; several cousins, family and friends. Burial Date: January 1, 1970
