Sandra Michelle Roberson Barnes

Sandra Michelle Roberson Barnes, 49, a resident of Dothan passed away on Monday, March 6, 2017 at her residence.

Memorial Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kenneth K. Robinson officiating. The family will receive friends from 2-3:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

Sandy was born on April 12, 1967 in Dale County and lived the early years of her life in Ozark. She was a 1985 graduate of Carroll High School and attended Wallace Community College. Sandy had a big heart and would help anybody in need. She was a homemaker and loved to cook for her family and friends especially during the Christmas Holiday season. Sandy was preceded in death by her sister, Tammy Denise Roberson. Sandy was loved by all and will be dearly missed by all.

Sandra is survived by her husband and the love of her life, Woody Barnes; her son, Hunter Roberson; her step-sons, Woody Barnes, Jr. and Eric Barnes; 7 grandchildren; her mother, Mary Woods Hibbs; a special aunt, Barbara Bass; her uncles, Henry Ward, Bill Ward and Lomax Glover; and numerous nieces and nephews and friends.
