Sarah Michele Dooling

Sarah Michele Dooling, 17, of Taylor, passed away Tuesday October 17, 2017 after a courageous battle against heart disease at a Birmingham hospital.

Funeral services will be 5 pm Friday October 20, 2017 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Greg Speight officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday 4pm – 6pm. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing.

Sarah was born on February 26, 2000 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center and lived in Dothan all her life. She attended Dothan High School and loved animals, especially dogs. Because she enjoyed music she wanted to be a DJ when she grew up.

Sarah is survived by her parents, Nicholas “Nick” Dooling and Angela Dooling; her sister, Amber Bakken; her grandparents, Darcy Peoples, Brenda Etheredge and Rick Dooling; her nephew, Henry Harbison; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
