Sarah Helen Ray

Sarah Helen Ray, a resident of Dothan passed away on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center. She was 64.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, March 19, 2010 at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bill Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Thursday at the funeral home. At all other times the family will be at the home of Willa Dean Johnson, 3510 Stanley Rd., Dothan, AL.Ms. Ray was born on January 5, 1946 in Dothan, AL and has lived her entire life in the Dothan area. She enjoyed fishing and spending time with her family and friends.Survivors include her sons Timothy Dickerson and his wife Kathy of Dothan, Gregory Gene Dickerson of Dothan; a daughter Angela Smith and her husband Bobby of Chipley; 5 grandchildren, Justin, Joshua, Jeremy, Donna D-Anne, Ashley; 2 great-grandchildren, Sebastian, Avalynn; her brothers, Shelby Strickland, Shelton Strickland, Robert Strickland, Larry Strickland, John Allie Strickland; her sisters, Willa Dean Johnson, Nina Sue Campbell, Linda Shepard, Brenda Jewell, Elisa Grier, Margaret Papp; several nieces and nephews also survive. Burial Date: January 1, 1970
