Sharon Lynn “Sherry” Dykes, 54, of Ashford died Thursday, April 7, 2011 at her residence.

rnServices will be 2:00 pm on Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home with Rev. John Smith and Rev. Karl Hudson officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm on Monday at the funeral home. rnMrs. Dykes was born December 3, 1956 in St. Louis, MO and lived the early part of her life in Louisville, OH, where she graduated from high school in 1975. She resided in Minerva, OH prior to moving to Cottonwood in 1993. Mrs. Dykes loved spending time with her grandchildren, they were the light of her life. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Cottonwood. She was preceded in death by her father Chet Hunsaker. rnSurvivors include her husband Randy Dykes of Ashford; a daughter Angel Bryant and her husband Joe of Cottonwood; 2 grandchildren, Tristan Bryant and Chetnie Bryant; her mother Dena Helms of Ft. Valley, GA; her step father Gene Helms of Canton, OH; her brothers, Rick Helms, Don Weathers, Mike Hunsaker, and Mark Hunsaker; a sister Deborah Gilleland; several nieces and nephews also survive. Burial Date: January 1, 1970
