Sharon Kay Ramshur

October 4, 1941 — September 22, 2018

Sharon Kay (Anderson) Ramshur, a resident of Dothan passed away on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Flowers Hospital. She was 76. Funeral services will be held at 10 am on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at The Pentecostals of Dothan Church with Rev. Philip Harrelson officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Mrs. Ramshur was born on October 4, 1941 in Abilene, Texas and lived the early years of her life there and she graduated from Abilene High School. She married her first husband, Leon Anderson, who died in 1988 and they had two sons and resided in Big Springs, Texas for several years. She met and married Ed Ramshur in 1990 and as his faithful helpmate, they would reside in different communities based on the needs of his construction business. Mrs. Ramshur's love and passion was for her Lord and Savior and for her family as a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was an avid reader and was a member of The Pentecostals of Dothan Church. Mrs. Ramshur was preceded in death by her daughter, Darla Anderson and by her granddaughter, Amanda Anderson. Survivors include her husband, Edward Ramshur; her sons, Daryl (Deborah) Anderson and Kelly Anderson; her daughters, Michelle Ramshur and Lori (Brian) Egler; her 4 grandchildren, Philadelphia (Brian) Shedden, Dallas (Courtney) Anderson, Michaela Egler, and Nicholas Egler; her great-grandchildren, Blake Shedden, Madlynn Shedden, Aubrie Hagan, Ryder Jones, and Bransyn Anderson. Burial Date September 25, 2018 Funeral services will be held at 10 am on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at The Pentecostals of Dothan Church with Rev. Philip Harrelson officiating.
