Shelia Gayle Prueter

Shelia Gayle Prueter, a resident of Daleville, AL passed away on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at a local hospital. She was 61 years old. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Tim Mayhall officiating. Shelia was born August 2, 1957 in Brundidge, AL and lived the early part of her life there and was a graduate of Brundidge High School. She was employed as a Human Resources Manager with Civil Service at Ft. Rucker for over 33 years until her recent illness. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading books and spending time with her family. Her passion was her work, and she wholeheartedly loved and truly cared for the soldiers and staff she worked with at Ft. Rucker. Survivors include her husband, Bob Prueter; son, Robert (Amy) Prueter; grandson, Rylee Prueter; brothers, James (Debbie) Sutton and Wayne (Rosa) Sutton; sister, Fenisha (Lawrence) Ashberry; very special friends, Kelly Obermiller, Karen Van Loon, Marie Koach, and Shonda Prince. Burial Date September 6, 2018 Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Tim Mayhall officiating.
