Shirley Fife

Shirley Faye Fife, 69, a resident of Cowarts, passed away early Wednesday morning March 4, 2015 in her home with her family who loved her dearly.

Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 7, 2015 at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Leon Adams officiating. Burial will follow in Crestlawn Cemetery with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 2-3:00 p.m. Saturday prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Fife was born June 2, 1945 in Midland City, AL and lived there the early part of her life. She has resided in Cowarts, AL since 1975. Mrs. Fife was employed with Hardee's on Main Street for 23 years as General Manager. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, taking care of her loving dogs, and most recently she has found Facebook and was able to re-connect with a lot of her family and friends. She was a loving wife, mother, nana, daughter, sister, and friend. She will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father Lillie and Isom Kennedy, brothers: Billy, Rex, and Randy, sisters: Kathleen Henderson, Betty Lammons, and Brenda Martin.

She leaves behind her loving husband David Five, her daughter Tammy Breining Mark, her son Monty Cox, grandchildren: Salina, Jarred, Corey, and Jeremy, and great grandchildren: Aiden, Natalie, and Emma.
