Stanley Ray Wilbourn

Stanley Ray Wilbourn went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, FL.

He was born in Evansville, Indiana moving to Pensacola and Albany, GA before returning to the Pensacola area in 1988 opening C+S Signs, which he operated until his death. He attended Olivet Baptist Church in Milton, FL. He was a member of the Hadji Shriners of Pensacola, FL.

He is proceeded in death by his parents, Addis Rourl and Sara York Wilbourn and his brother Gregory Alan.

Survivors include his "soul mate" Sharon Boutwell Ausburn, Mobile, AL; his son, Tanner; his daughter, Jessica; his grandson, Wyatt; his brother, Gary Karen Michael, Rockmart, GA; his sisters, Sarah Lynn Crosson and Margaret Wilbourn, both of Columbus, GA; his nephew, Michael Wilbourn, Cummings, GA; his aunt, Quida Martin, Dothan, AL; many other aunts, cousins, and friends.

Funeral services will be 1 pm Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel.  The family will receive friends 12-1 pm central time prior to the service. Burial will follow at Selma Baptist Church with Robert Byrd directing.

Details for a gathering to be held in the Milton/Pensacola area Saturday December 3, 2016 will be announced at a later date.

Serving as active pallbearers will be David Couperthwaite, Jason Joyner, Eric Dole, Joel Ellefson, Glen Adams, and Bob Childers.
