Steven Alan Ammons

Steven Alan Ammons, a resident of Echo, AL passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at a local hospital. He was 24 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jason Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

Steven was born on June 11, 1992 in Ozark, AL and lived the early part of his life there. He was employed as a brick mason and resided in the Ozark and Echo communities.

Survivors include his wife Meaghan Ammons; his son, Blaize Ammons; his daughters, Legacy Ammons, Hadyn Swearengin, and Kaylee Cobb; his parents, Angela Childree and Willie Ammons; his grandmother, Ruth Ammons; his grandfather, Terry Ammons; his great-grandmother, Aline Ammons; his sister, Alexandra Ammons; several aunts and uncles including, Joy and Von Williams, Melissa and Chad Mesey, Tracy and Thomas Lomanack, and Marshall Childree; several cousins.
