Sybil Faye Adkinson

Sybil Faye Adkinson, 60, a resident of Midland City passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2010 at her residence.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tom Anderson and Dr. Bradley Rushing officiating and Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends following the services at the funeral home.Mrs. Adkinson was born on November 6, 1949 in Barbour County and lived the early years of her life in Elamville, AL and lived in Louisville, AL prior to moving to Midland City, AL. She moved to Midland City in 1976 and was employed as a manager with GNC in the Wiregrass Commons Mall for 15 years prior to her retirement in 2003. Mrs. Adkinson loved spending time with her family.Survivors include her husband Billy Adkinson of Midland City; a son Brandon Adkinson and his wife Laney of Dothan;a grandchild Lauren Adkinson; her brothers, Eugene McLendon and his wife Mildred of Clio and Oyed McLendon and his wife Sara of Louisville, AL; her sisters Lanell Teal and her husband Jack of Clio, AL and Sara Popp and her husband John of Dothan, AL; several nieces and nephews also survive. Burial Date: January 1, 1970
