Syble Irene Mauldin

October 16, 1918 — May 18, 2014

Syble Irene Mauldin, 95, of Ozark passed away Sunday, May 18, 2014 at a local hospital.

Funeral services will be 11:30am Friday, May 23, 2014 at Pinckard Baptist Church with Rev. Roger Stone officiating. Burial will follow in Providence Baptist Church Cemetery, Clayhatchee with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 5-7pm Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Pinckard Baptist Church, P.O. Box 188, Pinckard, AL, 36371.

Mrs. Mauldin was born October 16, 1918 in Dale County and resided in Pinckard most of her life. She was employed with White-Knight Manufacturing Company for over 30 years. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a long time member of Pinckard Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband James Lewie Mauldin.

Survivors include her sons, Don Diane Mauldin, Dellis Mauldin and Durell Mauldin; daughters, Dorothy Dave Miller and Elizabeth Leigh; grandchildren, Mark Carpenter, Melissia Mauldin, Heather Hatton, Andy Mauldin and Jennifer Leigh Evans; a sister Velma Davis; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Burial Date: January 1, 1970
