Sylvia Elaine Danner

Sylvia Elaine Danner has left this world to be with God and her family in Heaven, on Thursday, June 25, 2020. Sylvia was born to Lovick and Lessie Danner on January 6, 1951, in Elamville, Alabama. She was a long-time citizen of Dale County, Alabama. Her final years, she made Headland, Alabama her home. She loved living out in the country, where she tended to her flower beds, and her rose garden. Sylvia was a Christian and attended Rainbow Meadows Baptist Church when she had strength to go. Sylvia is preceded in death by both of her parents, Lovick and Lessie Danner, 3 sisters, Jewel Dean, Pearl Williams, and Sadia (Ernie) Potts, 3 brothers, Webster, Jimmy, and Fred Danner, 1 nephew, Ernest (Cowboy) Potts, and 2 granddaughters, Kiara Aubrella and Alexis McKenzie. Her survivors include her soul mate and forever love, George E. Jones of Jasper, TN; her 3 children, Kevin Vance of Headland, AL, Kandy Jones of Ozark, AL, Hope (David) Key of Headland, AL, and Sonya Gray of Ozark, AL; her 12 grandchildren, Devin Vance of Dothan, AL, Michael Crites of Ozark, AL, Peyton Jones of Ozark, AL, Anna Simmons of Jasper, TN, Shay Marie Jones of Jasper, TN, Brandi Jones of Ft. Payne, AL, Christina Gilliam of Higdon, AL, Quadrique Gray, Shardae Gray, and Shantell Brewster all of Ozark, AL, Camryn Olyver (Maryah) of New Hampshire and Stacian of Ozark, AL; her 6 great-grandchildren, Mackenzie and Piper Saunders of Ozark, AL, Aubriella Jones of Ozark, AL, Jimmy Jones of Jasper, TN, Barbie Anderson of Ozark, AL, and Colton Gilliam of Higdon, AL; her 2 sisters, Vivian (Rex) Dorrill of Ozark, AL and Nadine (Junior) Wilson of Troy, AL; several nieces and nephews. Her heart was golden and accepted all as her own, deeming she was known as "Mama" and "Nanny" to all who adopted her. Mama, it's time to go rest high on that mountain, your wings are ready, but our hearts were not! Rest in Peace.
